In 1967, Jocelyn Bell Burnell and Antony Hewish discovered regular radio pulses from PSR B1919+21. This pulsar was later interpreted as an isolated, rotating neutron star. The energy source of the pulsar is the rotational energy of the neutron star.

neutron stars are basically a part of a medium size star in outer space..due to high gravity of big size stars the outer layer of the star destroys with a blast and core of the star remains.these small stars are called neutron stars...

  A neutron star have a very high gravity. that if a person has it's own weight of 50 kg on earth it will be seem to the person on a neutron star about 1,000,000,000,000 kg..

A neutron star rotates along it's axis with a very high speed about 1600 rev/sec. when it comes to close to any other star then due to the energy of approaching star it starts revolving with more speed.they are city size steller object with a mass about 1.4 times that of the sun...

after a long period when it's gravity increased more than a limit then it forms a black hole....
